CELLULOID

Celluloid is a natural material which is made from cotton cellulose, worked with coloured pigments and powered mother-of-pearl.

A precious material which endows Montegrappa oens with natural stylishness. To express all ites special fascination, which arises from the brilliance and consistency of its colour and the pleasantness to the touch, celluloid has to be worked and to mature for a period of eighteen months.

PRECIOUS MATERIALS AND STONES

Sterling silver and 18k gold - yellow, white and pink- have always been staple materials at Montegrappa and are worked with most sophisiticated techniques. The most elaborate and exclusive creations are also embellished by precious stones: diamonds, rubies, and sapphires.
