Celebrating the Bicentennial of Giuseppe Verdi's birth.
1813-2013: Celebrating the bicentennial of Giuseppe Verdi’s birth, perhaps the greatest composer and musician of all times! This exclusive collection is manufactured as a limited edition of 1813 units (350 fountain pens, 650 roller balls and 813 twist-action ballpoint pens).
Each pen is turned from rods of black resin and is accented with rhodium plated trim. One side of the cap is laser engraved with a portion of Giuseppe Verdi’s face, whilst the other side features his signature. The cap’s band features the anniversary dates (1813-2013) on the front and the wording “Bicentenario” (Italian for “Bicentennial”) at the back.
The top of the cap boasts the typical Montegrappa logo, proudly surrounded by the Italian tricolour. As an endorsement to this beautiful collection, the logo of Teatro Regio di Parma’s Foundation graciously decorates the sections of fountain pen and roller ball and the ball pen’s tip.
