The first pen in the Cult series designed by Sylvester Stallone.
Part of the new Cult series, Sylvester Stallone's Chaos pen is fashioned from precious materials and produced in limited numbers. The body of the pen is made of black pearlised celluloid with overlays in sterling silver or solid 18K gold. Overlays are finished by hand by Montegrappa's skilled craftsmen and feature an antiqued finish with accents in translucent enamel, in reds and yellows the colors of fire.
The design is characterized by the juxtaposition of life and death; the former represented by the early forms of life on Earth: reptiles (such as snakes and lizards), the latter by the skull. And though it is not as mighty as the pen itself, the ultimate defining detail, bearing both a fist and a skull, is the pen's clip in the form of a sword.

Desiderio – Italian for “Desire”
Desiderio represents deeply-felt desire, the longing one has for the target or their ardor. It may be the need to perform a particular function or role, or having a wish come true. It is a most powerful force, one that fuels great art, heroic achievement, herculean effort. But it is also personal, an inner drive that craves fulfillment or satisfaction. When it flows from the mind of the musician, it can transcribe the notes to an epic symphony or a plaintive ballad. For another, it will yield a love letter that will scorch the page, or a poem that will wrench a response from the heart of the reader.

Embodying this in a pen is a challenge that has produced a series of writing instruments imbued with mystery, for it is impossible to explain the power of sheer desire. Desiderio writing instruments are made in pearlised bi-colour resin, the user choosing from red and black, grey and blue or beige and brown, with trim in sterling silver and a filigree-cut 18kt gold nib.
No two are alike, just as all desires are unique, for the material that forms each cap and body possesses its own swirling pattern.
Montegrappa’s signature octagon accents the top, while the rolling ball at the end of the pocket clip and a thin line around the cap are coloured to contrast with the body. Upon removing the cap, the second colour is also revealed at the writing end of the fountain or the rollerball pen.
Desire reaches fulfilment with a choice of four writing tools. Desiderio is offered as a fountain pen in both cartridge and converter-fed form, a rollerball pen, a ballpoint pen and a mechanical pencil. Each exists to express your yearnings and aspirations.

The first to be inaugurated is Ernest Hemingway – one of the most innovative and influential writers, reporters and novelists of the 20th century, and one who wrote, coincidentally, with Montegrappa pens.
The Montegrappa writing instruments collection named after the author is divided into four exclusive editions: “The Soldier”, “The Writer”, “The Fisherman” and “The Traveler”
Each of these four retells a particular life period or passion of his and is embodied in a pen, offered in the three types – fountain, roller and ballpoint pen. Each model in the four topics is a limited edition of 100 examples, totaling 300 pens for each subject. All pens in the series are produced in celluloid with Sterling Silver trim. Only 10 examples of each of the three pen types are trimmed with 18k Gold.
Of particular significance in the history of Montegrappa is Hemingway having spent time during World War I in Bassano del Grappa at Villa Cà Erizzo, next to the pen manufactory. One of his greatest works, A Farewell to Arms (1929), was inspired by his relationship with a nurse during his time in Veneto and many of the descriptions of the area draw inspiration from the views of Bassano, and so is The Soldier pen.
